Another salad place that serves scrumptious-looking salads. Tender Greens’ salads are organic and locally-sourced (where possible). They even use recycled materials (furniture and whatnot) in the interior of their restaurant.

Looks like a nice, cool place to hang out and eat some rabbit food. You can see all the Tender Greens nutrition facts on their website. Their ‘Chipotle Barbeque Chicken’ salad looks particularly pleasing: chipotle barbeque chicken, romaine hearts, avocado, green onion, queso fresco, crispy tortilla chips, and cilantro lime dressing. It seems like every sandwich joint or sub place has a concept. But I think it’s great that restaurants like Firehouse Subs can compete with Subway, Quizno’s, etc.

We all seem to build our sandwiches a little different, hence the ‘niche’ markets of these sub places. Firehouse Subs’ unique approach is that some of their sandwiches are heated by a steamer, not a microwave or oven. The sandwich gets moist (not soggy) instead of dry and crusty, which is what you get with an oven.
