Friday Fun: The Bad Fats Brothers

I know posting has been reeeeaaaalllly slow lately (more coming soon, I promise!) but I came across this during my daily sojourn through RSS land. I don’t think we have enough humor on this site, so I’d thought I’d provide a little something different for a Friday.

Megan at How Magazine writes:

FlickerLab, in partnership with Porter Novelli and the American Heart Association, recently created the humorous, animated site The Bad Fats Brothers, which aims to educate adults about the bad fats lurking in their food.

I’ve visited this site, and it’s pretty funny. I’m glad that normally stuffy agencies like the American Heart Association are thinking “out-of-the-box” and creating PSA campaigns that people will actually remember. I hope more groups will follow their example and create entertaining campaigns.

The most memorable campaign for me was the Fried Egg/Brain on Drugs campaign. Not because it made not want to do drugs (wouldn’t have done them anyway) but because I couldn’t eat eggs for awhile. I felt like I was eating brains or something…

What PSA campaigns do you remember most?
